Jazzy Blue moved to the Virgin Islands in 2000 after having played short engagements in the Islands since 1996. A former pastor and gospel singer, he expanded to playing secular music when he was recruited by world famous blues singer and guitarist Bobby Parker. Jazzy played keyboard for him for about a year. After this Jazzy booked himself on an Australia tour where he played the East Coast for 2 ½ months. This led to his being recruited by W.C. Handy and Living Blues Awards winner "Big Jack Johnson and the Oilers" for whom he performed as opening act and keyboard player on their 1998 European tour. This tour took Jazzy to Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, and Luxembourg, where he received standing ovations and instant popular acclaim for his passionate performances.

"That trip confirmed for me that I would travel the world playing music…..the audiences were really impressed with my performances and let me know it," Jazzy reminisces. So finally in 2000, Jazzy took the big step of faith, quit his "day job" at a university law school and came to the Caribbean to play for resorts, restaurants, and private parties. He is available to travel and is playing music festivals all over the world as the new CD takes off.

Jazzy’s New CD: "That Ain’t All I Wanna Say." The title song is an uptempo country blues; "Shipwrecked, Just Off the Coast of Your Love," "You Should’a Told Me," "16 Ways to Reach the Ground," and "Gettin’ Drunk and Cryin" are blues styles; "Crucian Gurl" is a Reggae, "De Crucian Cherry Go Pop" is Calypso;" "He’d Give Her Anything" and "My Heart Just Started Loving You" are passionate love/country styles.

The final song on the project is an inspirational song that Jazzy wrote after receiving god’s peace when going through what appeared to be a life threatening illness. The title, "It’s Alright Now"
